Does QPI Provide Payroll Services?

NO. QPI does not offer payroll services at this time.

Does QPI conduct background screenings for employees?

QPI understands that employees or contractors may not always disclose post-employment events. QPI also believes that federal background verifications, only conducted annually, could put your practice at risk. Thus, QPI conducts quarterly background verifications thru the OIG, SAM, National Sex Offender Registry and PACER for all healthcare organization owners, employees, contractors, and vendors. Why are background screenings important to my practice?

QPI conducts quarterly background checks on all staff members to protect the integrity of the practice. Should an employee be identified on the National Sex Offender Registry and your practice is a pediatrician, QPI would disclose this information to the administration team. Does QPI assit with Incident Reporting and analysis of those reports?

Yes, QPI has Policies and Procedures detailing the difference between Employee Incidents, Incidents involving Patients, and Sentinel Events. We assist with completion of the proper forms and reporting of those incidents/events to the correct Regulatory Agency if required. Lastly, QPI will assist your company in conducting RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to determine the key issues that resulted in the incident and help you create action plans to mitigate those risks in the future. What is the credentialing process for physicians and what's included in that process?

The Credentialing process is to verify and access a physician’s education, training, and experience. It allows patients to trust that they’re in good hands and physicians to have trust in their peers. Credentialing also plays a part in physician health plan enrollment so that payment for services can be received. Included in the process of credentialing is a background screening, education, experience, training, history, licensing, and ability to practice medicine. How long does the Credentialing process take?

Standard credentialing can take between 90-120 days or in some cases more than 120 days. Depending on the complexities. I would be happy to introduce you to QPIs team to learn more if you would like? 

How do I start the Credentialing process?

QPI offers this service, by first making a request to join an insurance companies’ network by submitting your information to them. Most of the larger insurance companies utilize CAQH (Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare) to access physician licenses, DEA, CV, W9. How can QPI help my practice with Medicare risk?

How does QPI collect and report HEDIS Data?
  1. QPI has the ability to collect all patient data from the clients AdvancedMDs EHR as "read only" access.
  2. QPIs HEDIS Director and team extract the data from the AdvancedMDs EHR and submit into their software, Lavear, where it can be calculated.
  3. QPI believes in a hands-on approach to select the highest specificity within HCC guidelines.
Can QPI help with UDS?
